I love looking at all the elaborate tablescapes that are on-trend right now, but truthfully, a beautiful table with all the bells, whistles, glasses and cups can get expensive. While they’re gorgeous and I dream of hosting like that, it’s not our style. We like casual, chatty barbecues with our family and friends over the spring and summer, with people moving in and out of the house and I like little pieces that speak to our laid-back nature but that also have some flair.
Appetizers would be perfect on these Kate Spade appetizer plates! They’re simple, and the lettering on them is exactly what I love-casual and cheerful.
These chargers are a perfect transition-dinner is served with a nicely framed plate, but the Rattan keeps it subtle and able to be used inside on our table or outside on our patio set.
If we happen to be celebrating something, these champagne ‘flutes’ are perfect…no stemware! Super festive with the “Cheers!” lettering on them, but no worries about delicates breaking!
I do not have any cloth napkins to date. I feel like these would be a solid choice to kick of my collection…subtle, cheerful, and can be used any time of year. Gold isn’t just for New Year’s celebrations!
Dessert is important, people. It is. I don’t care what we’re eating, but we’ll pretend it’s light on calories with these feather dessert plates, mmkay?
By now you know my affinity for coffee. I LOVE THESE MUGS. They’re a little bit mod, a little bit Art Deco. And they’re a steal! I’m all for the pink, but if you’d rather something more muted, they come in white/gold and green/gold, too!
Last but not least, a chic little stamped spoon to stir your coffee. Pieces like this make me so happy, because to your guest, they’re unexpected and a great little conversation starter!
Happy Thursday! I hope your week is going well so far. We’re almost to the weekend!
