Man, I enjoyed this weekend so much. It was surprisingly low key, with two fun parties we attended on Saturday. We got to see a lot of our friends and family which we always enjoy so much. Aside from the dismal performance from the Wolverines during the Michigan vs. Michigan State game, Saturday was a blast. With all of the running around we did during the week, we had a really calm Friday and Sunday. Friday was spent watching Game of Thrones (no spoilers, I’m new to it and only on season 3!) and Sunday I made my great-grandmother’s spaghetti sauce. My house smelled sooo goooood.
I didn’t do much fall decorating this weekend, because I’m trying to enjoy what I put up before I add in my Halloween decorations. I did get to create a little coffee table basket though, which Joey and I both love. I had picked up this Yankee Candle at one of my Home Goods stops, and man it smells SO GOOD. It’s Pumpkin Apple Butter, and it makes our living room smell delicious. It’s perfect to light at night and enjoy during the fall. Except for the candle, I bought everything at Hobby Lobby. The basket, the filler pieces of leaves and berries and acorns, and the logs. I didn’t want anything too large because we use our coffee table a lot and I didn’t want to have to move everything around each time we needed to use it.
So, what’s on your coffee table this fall? Do you have any particular candles you pull out and light? Let me know! I’m always on the hunt for more delicious scents for my home!
I hope you all have a great start to the week! Happy Monday!
